Snug Harbor Rehabilitation and Recovery opened its doors a the beginning of the fourth quarter in 2019.  Snug Harbor offers medically monitored detoxification and residential services to those suffering from the disease of addiction.

​

Deborah Messina of Erie, Pa. serves as the Executive Director of Snug Harbor Rehabilitation and Recovery.  Lisa Maas of Small Business Alternatives 1909 West 8th Street Erie, PA serves as our accounting firm.  Robert Bazylak and Robert Bazylak Jr of Conneaut Lake, Pa. along with Deborah Messina serve as corporate directors.

Our program differs somewhat from others in terms of the emphasis placed on all counseling techniques and therapeutic modalities.  In addition to our therapeutic modalities, we also focus on the 12 Step program, NA, AA, ASAM and CARF.  We offer several groups daily, multiple weekly individualized counseling sessions, case management for discharge planning and assistance with life in recovery and daily recreational activities.

Our facility is located on 79 acres of land offering peaceful tranquility.  This campus layout enables us to offer hiking opportunities, gardening, cook outs, bonfires, nature walks, and sled riding.

Snug Harbor has chosen the lighthouse symbol to demonstrate our commitment to our clients; "like the lighthouse guides ships at stormy sea safely to port, we commit to guiding our clients through the storm of addiction to a life in recovery."
